Accounts

There are different types of accounts in SIHOT:

    Guest and client accounts:

These accounts are established for each room automatically during check-in and are usually used for the charges incurred during the guest’s stay.

The guest and client accounts are shown side by side. While the windows on the left show charges and payments on the guest account, the windows on the right show charges and payments on the client account. The invoice holders of the guest and client accounts are shown below the charge postings.

    Group account:

If the payment instructions in a reservation stipulate Group account, then the fix services of all rooms with the same reservation number will be charged to a group account. This group account is established automatically during the night audit after the check-in of any or all rooms within this reservation.

    Reservation account:

Reservation accounts are mainly used to handle deposit payments. They are established automatically when entering a deposit requirement in the reservation.

    Miscellaneous account:

Misc. accounts are used for a number of purposes, for example for billing banqueting charges or for visitors who are not actually staying in a hotel room (conference attendees, etc.)
