Miscellaneous account

Misc. accounts are established for a number of purposes, for example to handle the Z-POS. Mainly, they are used for customers who are not registered at the hotel, for example companies hosting an event at the hotel, for the billing of the function’s charges.

There are two different types of misc. accounts:

    Temporary accounts:

These are automatically deleted after the account is settled.

    Permanent accounts:

These remain active after the settlement and are available for further charge postings.

If you are using the event management module SIHOT.C&B, you can assign misc. accounts to event reservations. With SIHOT.POS, the F&B department can then post charges to the account by simply entering the event number. If the hotel uses a different POS, you link the misc. account with a virtual room so that F&B can use the virtual room number to post charges to the account (paymaster).
