Check-In

The check-in-dialog handles individual guests as well as groups. You can check-in guests with or without prior reservation.

 

The title of the dialog can be assigned its own individual colour, in order to distinguish it clearly from the reservations dialog. This is done under registry key check-in dialog [1459] (see also Housekeeping – Arrival Summary)

 

The check-in can be conducted at the following program stages:

    using the check-in dialog – to be called up by pressing the check-in symbol on the toolbar or via the Front Office menu

    in the menu Housekeeping – Arrival summary via the context menu

    on the room rack via the context menu

 

The check-in changes the display of the reservation on the room rack. At the same time, a guest account is created. If SIHOT is interfaced to a PABX-system, the telephone line will be opened. During the night run any fix services from the reservation will be posted to the guest account.

 

Up until the night run, you are able to reverse the check-in - if no charges have been posted to the guest account. To reverse the check-in, select the function cancel check-in from the context menu in the arrival summary (Housekeeping menu).
