The meal plan summary provides a forecast of the numbers of different meal plans expected. The summary includes fix services of all checked-in and reserved guests. The information given in the meal plan summary is especially important for the kitchens in hotels with a high volume of half-board and full-board guests.
i NB: The summary calculates only the fix services as entered in the reservations. Manually posted services on guest accounts are not included in this dialog!

When using the option sort by client and market segment, the guest types will be counted all together, unless the checkbox guest types - detailed is ticked.

Using the summary’s data, SIHOT can print meal vouchers per guest and meal. Depending on the hotel’s layout of the voucher, guest may for example note their choice of menu here.
