The term “gift certificates” in SIHOT relates to vouchers for accommodation or services, which have been issued by the hotel (in contrast to travel vouchers issued by travel agents or tour operators) and therefore require special handling with regards to tracking, accounting, taxation etc. This module enables the user to handle all aspects of issuing gift certificates.
