Create Schedule

During the day to day work of hotels, certain programs are run periodically, always in a particular sequence, e.g. the night run to effect the end-of-day closing. These programs are bundled together in a schedule and will run in their respective sequence when the schedule is started.

The schedule may also include a database back-up program, which will continue the back-up, even if the running of the schedule is aborted.

When creating a schedule, you can define an individual rhythm for each program, which will ensure it runs on the days specified only.

To create a new schedule, open the tab schedule. Press Ins to enter the name of the new schedule and confirm with enter. You can now enter the programs in the blank schedule under the tab planned schedule.

To edit existing schedules, highlight the respective schedule under the tab schedule and open the tab planned schedule.

Press Ins to enter a new program above the highlighted line, and Ctrl + Ins to insert a new line below the highlighted one. Select the programs from the combo box and define print options, number of print outs, printer and the frequency of how often the program is to be run.

Remove any unwanted programs by pressing Del and edit existing entries with a double click.

In this column, you can define specific layouts when running programmes using layouts. If this column is left blank or if the layout entered is not available, then SIHOT will automatically use the default layout.
