The hotel master file defines details regarding the hotel in general and provides pre-settings for reservations, housekeeping and others. Some of the definitions here form the basis for various managerial statistics.
In an MPE-environment, every property has its own hotel master file. For further information, refer to section MPE.
The packaged entered in the field Fix service will be suggested automatically when making a reservation, unless the reservation’s client has a different standard package.
The value in field Rounding factor is usually 0.01, which returns 2 decimal spaces. Only very weak currencies may require the use a different factor.
The figures entered in Number of rooms and Number of beds are required to calculate the occupancy percentages.
