A semaphore provides information as to any disturbances of the system within the client (e.g. the telephone process is unable to communicate with the PABX). A green light indicates there are no disturbances or that there are only informative messages. A flashing yellow light indicates that there are warnings by the server. A flashing red light indicates that there are error messages by the server.
In addition, the DISP is checking if a back up has been completed and displays a warning message via semaphore if there has not been a back up for more than two days and three hours. The warning is repeated every three hours (max. 11 times).
Double click on the semaphore to open the dialog server messages giving details of the problem.
