Saving Contact Data

The guest profile  field save contact data in the guest profile determines whether or not the guest’s contact data is saved in the database. The following options are available:

    yes

The guest has agreed to have his/her contact data saved.

    no

The guest has refused to have his/her contact data saved. Data that has been entered already will be automatically erased after pressing new or modify.

i N.B. Contact data entered in a reservation will also be automatically erased.

    anonymisation after check-out

Use this option to retain the contact data for as long as the guest holds a reservation until the end of the stay. To carry out the anoymisation after check-out, the night audit must include the batch anonymise guest (programme is available under reports - misc. programs).

 

The fields that are affected by the anonymisation are defined under registry heading [14850]:

    address fields (street, P O box, country, post code, city)

    phone, phone 2

    fax, fax 2

    mobile, mobile 2

    web, web2
