Various factors may influence the time required for SIHOT to process a layout. The following tips can help to speed-up the processing:
•Layout size exceeds 300 KB
The layout probably contains graphics or pictures which have a negative impact on the file’s size. Refer to Inserting a Link to a Picture above, which explains how to insert a link to a graphic or picture.
•The real-time security check of the antivirus-software checks the data base as well as the layout during processing.
Exclude all SIHOT-directories (network drive, local directories on the PC’s – especially SIHOT/tmp directory and sever directories) from the real-time check in the antivirus programme.
