Telephone charges from office extensions are handled just like charges arising in guest rooms. In this case, the offices are configured in SIHOT and extension numbers assigned to the offices. Telephone booths are also treated as “offices”.
You can configure virtual rooms to handle extensions in banqueting rooms and administrative areas (e.g. tour rep desk). The virtual rooms are linked to a miscellaneous account, onto which the telephone charges are posted automatically.
è NB: When creating virtual rooms, ensure that their numbers are different from “normal” room numbers. Do not use the same numbers that are assigend to normal rooms.
The charges of rooms that are configured as cabins or booths are allocated to services not charged (Telephone-Menu) and can be settled in this dialog.
The telephone charges are calculated according to the services defined in the extension master file. You can define different charges for on- and off-duty calls; these must be configured in the service master file beforehand.
