Guest Profile

If the commission handling functions are serialised, SIHOT displays an additional tab in the profiles: commission agreement. The following settings are required in a profile that is entitled to receive commission:

•    Method of commission calculation

Define if the commission is based on net or gross amounts.

•    Commission service

Enter the service to be posted for commissions.

•    Posting commission

Enter the method to be used for posting commissions:

•    on commission account

The commission is not deducted from the invoice amount and will not appear on the invoice. It is posted to a separate account.

•    on invoice

The commission is posted on the invoice and deducted from the invoice amount.

•    manually

The commission is not deducted from the invoice amount and is, in fact, not posted anywhere. The amount calculated has an informational value only, that can be called up with the report commission settlement (see Manual Posting of Commissions)

•    Account holder commission account

SIHOT automatically establishes a commission account in the name of the of the profile. A double click in this field opens the commission account.

Use the listbox to enter further details regading the commission agreement for this profile:

•    Date from - until

The period for which the agreement is valid.

•    Hotel

In MPE-installations, different agreements can be entered for different properties. Select either all clients (i.e. all properties) or a specific property.

•    Commission grouping

Enter the appropriate commission group. Packages or services of a reservation must have the same grouping for the commission to be calculated.

•    Commission percentage

Enter the agreed percentage. If this percentage exceeds the maximum percentage of the package or component list’s services, a query will be displayed accordingly.
