There are different ways of sending e-mails out of SIHOT. For
example, if you press the ellipses-button next to an e-mail address in the guest profile, the standard e-mail
programme installed on your PC (e.g. Outlook) will be called up. The signature
defined in this mail program will be shown in the e-mail.
A separate signature can be defined for e-mails which are sent via the print-dialog in SIHOT (e.g. reservation confirmations). This signature is entered in the hotel master file. Here, press the button Add.Data to open the dialog text administration. The tab e-mail provides space to enter the signature’s text. If required, you may add the following variables:
• $opFirstName$
• $opLastName$
The e-mail will then include the first and last name of the user logged into SIHOT at that time. E.g.
Yours sincerely
$opFirstName$ $opLastName$
will show in an e-mail created by the user Stefan Maurer as:
Yours sincerely
Stefan Maurer
i TIP: Please note any legal requirements with regards to what an electronic business mail must include (e.g. tax number, trade register number, etc.).
