Duplicates

If, by accident, duplicate profiles have been created for one and the same guest, you may wish to delete the obsolete records and ensure that only one profile exists for this guest. Prior to deleting, the records should be merged, in order not to loose any history data. Call up the context menu and select the function search & merge. See chapter “CRM” - Search & Merge.

 

If the module SIHOT.CRM has been installed, use the function search & merge in the CRM-menu to identify and merge double records throughout the database.

 

In addition, the programme automatic deletion of duplicates (menu Reports - Misc. Programs) automatically merges and deletes duplicates using pre-defined criteria. See chapter “Reports” - Automatic Deletion of Duplicates.

 

To reduce the number of guest profiles that are not required to be kept on file, registry key delete temporary guests after check-out if identical with client [5962] should be activated.
