The arrival summary shows listings of the following:
• all arrivals of the day
• all guests who have checked-in today already
• all guests who are still due to check-in
Within the dialog, you are able to search for specific guests by entering respective search criteria. Whilst the standard view will show guests still due to arrive on the current date, you can also view arrivals in the future or of the past. At the bottom of the dialog, the number of rooms and guests shown in the display are calculated.
To view the arrivals, enter the required selection criteria (e.g. all guests checked-in or guests under the reservation of a certain orderer only) and press the button search. If required, the search can be carried out for specific orderers, travel agents or travel points (inlet). Tick the respective entry or entries in the combobox and enter the name (or part thereof) of the orderer, travel agent and/or travel point.
Double-click on the heading room or guest to sort the records in either
room or alphabetical order. A list of the current view can be called up on the
screen by pressing the preview-button on the toolbar. The list can be printed
by pressing the print-button
on the toolbar.
The total number of rooms is provided in form of two figures:
1. The number of rooms reserved. This figure counts e.g. suites consisting of two separate rooms as one unit.
2. The number of actual rooms. This figure counts e.g. suites consisting of two separate rooms as two rooms.
Colours of the arrival summary:
• green:
guests holding a reservation
• red:
guests who have been checked-in
• blue:
guests who have an entry in the guest profile
A double click in the respective column opens the guest profile, the guest account or the reservation.
If you have opted for an overview of guests rather than reservations (field referring to guest is yes), the column room status shows provides information regarding the number of guests in the room:
•: one guest will be occupying the room
• : two or more guests will be occupying the
room, using one guest account
• : two or more guests will be occupying the
room, using different guest accounts
Useful tooltips are shown on the following columns:
• Column registration card: date when the card was printed and by whom
• Column photo: the photo entered in the guest profile
• Column guest: reservation details
• Column comment: guest’s personal comment as per reservation
• Column payment instructions: invoice holders
• Colum return guest: details regarding the previous stay
