Rate schemes must be entered in an offer to come into effect. Here, they are assigned to clients and linked to selected packages. The rate scheme will be applied only if a reservation is made by a specified client and with a corresponding package.
Offers are set up in the master files (menu Master files – Rate scheme).
Each offer has a particular status:
•Initial:
These offers are not yet active. This status is given during the setup of an offer. You can modify this offer anytime.
•Active:
The offer was activated. It is not possible to make any changes to an active offer.
•Closed:
Once an offer has been activated, the status can only be changed to closed. A closed offer cannot be re-activated.
In the menu Reports - Misc. programs you can call up a program to close all expired offers (to-date ≤ current date).
