Group elements

Each group element has a sequential number, which is also the reservation sub-number. This way you can handle groups with rooms in different categories and/or with different arrival and departure dates in one reservation.

The details entered in the expander Group reservation are valid for all group elements. The individual elements are shown in a listbox and can be edited individually in the expander Reservation data.

Ø Create a reservation with the main details, such as principal dates of stay, client and other compulsory fields. Click New in the function pane to save the reservation.

Ø Click Activate group in the function pane.

SIHOT creates a group reservation.

Ø Click Add group element next to the listbox to create a new group element.

Ø Adjust the details of this element in the expander Reservation data or directly in the listbox.

Ø Click New in the function pane to save the element.

Use the buttons next to the listbox to carry out the following functions:

Icon	Description	Function
	Cancel group element	The highlighted group element is cancelled. For further information on cancellations, refer to the section on Cancellation.
	Reinstate group element	The highlighted, cancelled group element is reinstated, i.e. the reservation type is changed to that of the rest of the group.
	Remove group element from group	The rooms in this highlighted group element will be transferred into a new, separate group reservation and are no longer associated with the original group.
	Change group element to no-show	The highlighted element becomes a no-show reservation.
