Email filter

Use this field in the expander Contact to specify which type of automatically generated email communication you will send to the guest. Guests who have not explicitly given their permission for the hotel to send advertising material can be thereby be excluded from such mailing lists.

i NOTE:
The filter affects automatic emails and interfaces only.

You can still click the Mail-button  next to the email address to start writing an email to the guest (for example with Outlook).

Apart from automatic emails (see section Automatic emails for more information on this subject), the filter affects the following interfaces:

    SIHOT.Pre-&Post-Stay-Mails (optional module)

    Export Stays for marketing and the interfaces using this export

    Trip Advisor interface

    Police reports (depending on registry settings)

 

Use registry key [8275] in path Pre-set option for guest profile to set a default in all guest profiles that are newly created thereafter.

TIP:
This field can also be shown in the expander Edit data (control center, rooming list, etc.), if registry key is [511362] enabled.

If this registry key is enabled, you can also apply the guest profile’s default setting in the reservation. To do so, enable registry key [8275] in the Paranoia-path.
