The database clearance deletes all movement data that is no longer required for the current analytics. Statistics and revenue data are not affected by this program.
It is recommended to run a database clearance at the end of each month with the respective night audit schedule.
The following data can be deleted:
•reservations
•guest profiles
•misc. accounts
•telephone records
•city ledgers
•certain types of statistics
•allotments
•group blocks
•event reservations
•shift cash register records
•loggings
•credit cards, credit cards in comments
When ticking the option Clear comments of credit card information, SIHOT searches all comments for credit card numbers and anonymizes any findings down to a minimum of 4 digits. Word-comments are excluded from this search.
