The dialog wake-up calls shows the requested wake-up calls for rooms and extensions. You can add wake-up call orders or cancel wake-up calls. If guests are able to programm wake-up calls from their in-room telephone, these will also be shown in this dialog (origin: extension). The wake-up calls are shown in date and time order.
i NB: The availability of wake-up call functions depends on the technical level of the PABX!
Once SIHOT has tried to wake a guest up, the PABX returns a notification wheter the call was successful or unsuccessful. The column status shows the current status of the request.
An unsuccessful wake-up call, i.e. a call that was not answered by the guest, prompts a message on a specific screen or a print-out. This setting depends on a technical configuration done upon installation of the system.
Upon check-out, SIHOT cancels any outstanding wake-up calls.
Wake-up call functions are usually employed for guest rooms; however, you can also set-up wake-up calls for other extensions such as offices and function rooms, where they may serve as “reminders” for appointments etc.

To enter a wake-up call manually, click on a line in the listbox and press the Ins-key. You can now edit the line and enter the room number. Alternatively, you can enter several room numbers at the same time (e.g. 110, 111, 115) or a whole sequence of room numbers (e.g. 110:120). Enter further details (date, time, etc.) and confirm the request with the enter-key. To enter a wake-up call for a group, press in house guests and call-up the group for example by searching for the client. Highlight the respective rooms of the group to enter a wake-up call for all those selected.
Every amendment to a wake-up call must be traceable in the system. Therefore, wake-up calls cannot be deleted. Instead, they are being cancelled, thus remain visible in the system for reference. Highlight the wake-up call to be cancelled and press the del-key.
