Transfer Charges to another Account

Services can be transferred between the guest, client and group account by using the drag & drop method (only if the charges have not been invoiced yet).

 

Highlight the posting(s) to be transferred and drag them to the destination account or open the context menu and select transfer charges.

 

The transferred postings are listed in the account transfers report in the menu Reports – Checking reports. Invoices with single records show the postings in the room that they originally occurred in.

 

To transfer charges to another room account, call up both accounts in separate windows on the screen. Highlight the posting(s) to be transferred and transfer them to the destination account by drag and drop. Alternatively, you may transfer the charges by drag and drop to an account within the list box of an account search.

 

The column source the list box of the destination account will show the room number to which the charges were originally posted, together with the name of the guest (column guest name).

A listing of all transferred postings is available under Reports – Checking Reports – Account transfers report. This list does not include charges transferred between client and guest.
