Telephone Flatrate

When using a telephone interface, you can define so called “flatrates” for telephone charges. I.e. the guest pays a one-time fee for using the telephone for a pre-defined period, without incurring further telephone charges during this time.

To use this function, Telefon GDV must be serialised. In the service master file, enter telephone flatrate in the field use in interface. This activates the three fields phone flatrate to determine the period during which phone calls are covered by the flatrate. Enter days, hours and minutes as required.

The flatrate-period starts as soon as the service is posted to the (guest-, client-, …) account.

Service-lines charging higher-than-normal rates can be excluded from this flatrate. Enter the respective prefixes under registry-entry [7316]. Calls to these sorts of numbers will then be charged to the account as normal.

i NB: The flatrate always starts the moment the service is posted to the account. This means that if you post another flatrate before the first one has run out, it will come into effect immediately and not after the first one has run out. Therefore, you should post another flatrate only AFTER the currently applicable flatrate is finished.
