Should you have to rebate or rebook services or packages after check-out, these postings are usually undertaken on a misc. account. This may cause inaccurate statistics, as misc. accounts do not affect market segments, reservation sources, etc.
An alternative procedure would be to open a reservation account for the reservation (even if the guest has already checked out!) and carry through the postings on this account. The revenue statistics will then be adjusted accordingly.
In order to open a reservation account, open the tab All reservations and select Reservation account from the context menu. You can carry through postings on reservation accounts the same way you would on a misc. account. Settle the account after posting.
