Postings (incl. packages) which have not yet been invoiced can be split. E.g. you can divide a package to show on two separate invoices. The variable accommodation service of a package is split automatically by SIHOT The amount to be split-off must not be higher than the revenue to be posted while distributing the variable accommodation part.
The posting to be split may have been posted in the past and may already be included in the revenue report. The splitting will not affect the hotel’s revenue as a whole.
To carry out the split, highlight the respective posting(s) and select the function split service from the context menu. Enter the amount to be split in the following dialog and press OK.
SIHOT generates separate services for the split amount(s). The date of posting for these new (split) services is identical with the date on which the original posting was made.
