SIHOT is constantly being developed to provide you even more useful functions and features. These updates are usually carried out without much interruption to your day-to-day work.
If an update is available, SIHOT will recognize this straight away and open a pop-up question whether the user wishes to install the Hotfix immediately. If the user answers OK, SIHOT will close and must be restarted. Alternatively, the user can ignore the question (radio button exit – not recommended) or instruct SIHOT to ask the same question again later.
When using a SIHOT version which is different from the registered version, a balloon message will appear to alert the user. Also, the version number at the bottom of the screen will be marked outdated.
To highlight and explain what has been added, an update documentation is provided for your information and action. After login or after a user-change, a message will point out if a new update-documentation is available. The documentation can be viewed immediately or the message can be displayed again as a reminder at a later login.
