Signing In

You can combine several cash registers together to one shift float. The System Administrator must activate registry key [5329], if you wish to use this function.

Upon logging into SIHOT, the employees using the shift float must sign into a shift. They can only sign into active or re-opened shifts. Re-opened shifts are only available to the employee who conducted the re-opening. If there are no active shifts, open the dialog shift management and activate your shift (subject to appropriate user rights).

The status pane shows if you are signed into a shift and its description.

If the shift status changes (e.g. if another user inactivates the shift), a balloon will display a message accordingly.

If a hotel works with one shift only, the login process can be sped-up by registering the user to the active shift automatically. Activate registry key [7603] so that the users will only have to login with their password and can then skip the process of signing-in for the shift.
