• Description:
These are “normal” reservations as described earlier in this chapter. They contain several rooms, which may be on the same rooming list and/or in different sub-reservations. Different periods of stay can be entered for individual guests on the rooming list.
• Use:
For “homogenous” groups, whose guests mostly arrive and depart on the same dates.
• Rooming list:
The individual rooms and persons are gathered on the rooming list.
• Effect on availability:
Depending to the reservation status entered (e.g. guaranteed, waitlist, etc.)
• Handling/processing:
Changes in the reservation information-data (e.g. payment instructions) must be adjusted manually in each sub-reservation.
• Advantage:
Easy handling of groups with simple structures.
