Reservation Types/Status 1, 2, 3, O and W

    Description:

These are “normal” reservations as described earlier in this chapter. They contain several rooms, which may be on the same rooming list and/or in different sub-reservations. Different periods of stay can be entered for individual guests on the rooming list.

    Use:

For “homogenous” groups, whose guests mostly arrive and depart on the same dates.

    Rooming list:

The individual rooms and persons are gathered on the rooming list.

    Effect on availability:

Depending to the reservation status entered (e.g. guaranteed, waitlist, etc.)

    Handling/processing:

Changes in the reservation information-data (e.g. payment instructions) must be adjusted manually in each sub-reservation.

    Advantage:

Easy handling of groups with simple structures.
