Reservation type L - room blocked is used in HQs and in Central Reservations only. Because of the fact, that these systems only handle the clients’ categories and no individual rooms, blocked rooms cannot be reflected properly in the clients’ availability.
To solve this, blocked rooms at a property are entered in a reservation with reservation type L, which does not count as a definite reservation but does take the rooms out of the availability.
