A number of factors may cause the night run to abort unexpectedly. Possible explanations are:
• the network connection is interrupted
• the server is overloaded
• layouts are being blocked by other users or cannot be accessed
• database tables are under exclusive access by other users or another program
• the night run was started twice and aborted during the second time
In most cases, the night run can be re-started without problems. However, please note the following points:
• Open the schedule as normal under menu Back Office – Day End Closing.
• Enter the day to be audited.
• The list box shows the schedule’s programs. Those programs, which have already been completed before the night run was aborted, do not need to run again. Double click in the column execute of these programs to change from yes to no. This will prevent the programs from being carried out again.
i ATTENTION! The program new hotel date must NOT be started for second time! Changing the hotel date again may seriously distort the hotel data!
