In the package master file, you are able to assign different rate segments with different prices to each package. In the guest profiles, you are able to store specific rate segments for companies or agents. In addition, you are able to store rate segments with allotments.
If the reservation does not by default take over the rate segment from the package, profile or allotment, you can enter the rate segment manually in the reservation.
If the reservation contains a combination of package and rate segment, the field rate segment will be colour-coded to show if the combination is available or not:
•black:
the combination is available
•orange:
the combination of rate segment and package is not available in the master files
