The guest identification-functions as described below are intended for use in resort hotels working with all-inclusive packages.
The functions enable the hotel to easily administer, track and control different types of guest identifications. Using the identification, the staff is able to easily identify a guest’s entitlements, e.g. sports facilities included in the guest’s package or permission to enter certain recreational facilities.
Most hotels issue bracelets to their guests upon arrival, which are to be worn throughout the stay and which indicate to the staff the services the guest is entitled to. This documentation, therefore, uses bracelets for illustration purposes. However, the functions may be applied just as well when using photo ID-cards or similar tools.
It should be noted that the guest identification is always relating to the reservation rather than the guest’s profile, due to the fact that the type of bracelet depends on the package booked for this particular stay.
