The process administration allows you to configure and handle the background processes and servers. The background services handle functions such as posting of telephone charges, pay TV-fees and posting of F&B charges from the outlets.
Having started the program, SIHOT displays a list of all possible servers. These are also listed in the technical manual. click on a server to view the current status.
If the server is active, you can:
•update the status by pressing update.
•restart the server by pressing reset.
The consequences of a restart are laid out in the technical manual. A restart may be critical, e.g. in that all working stations have to be restarted as well.
