When activating a shift, two options are available to record the balance of the shift float:
•taking over the float a previous shift with a handover balance
•entering the balance of a new float manually
You can choose either one of these options. A combination of the two is not possible; e.g. you cannot take over a float from a previous shift and then manipulate the balance manually.
