Number of Rooms According to Contract

The number of rooms according to contract is the sum of definitive and tentative rooms, as specified in a written contract. Hence, it reflects the exact number of rooms originally and contractually agreed upon. It is also the basis for judging the performance of this allotment in the report allotment occupancy.

It should be noted that the scope, in contrast to the number of rooms according to contract, represents the actual number of rooms available for bookings including any odd increases or reductions that have been agreed outside the contractual commitment.

The number of rooms according to contract may be different from weekday to weekday. The number of rooms according to contract can also be set up to take into consideration periods (within the allotments validity period), during which additional rooms have been granted or reduced numbers of rooms apply, as per contract.

è EXAMPLE: An allotment of 10 rooms has been agreed upon. The contract also states that on Saturdays the allotment is reduced to 4 rooms and on Sundays it is reduced to 5 rooms. The contract further states that the allotment includes 5 additional rooms during the period from 22 to 25 May.
