If the module SIHOT.POS has been installed, the cash registers in food & beverage outlets post the services directly in SIHOT.PMS.
Having installed the cash registers, you can open a miscellaneous account, onto which each available service from the outlets is posted just once, or you open an account for each day of the week. The services are thereby entered in the service master file. The service number and description-fields are entered automatically. The numbers for all F&B services feature either an and-sign (&) or an exclamation mark (!) and they cannot be edited. After the services are entered in SIHOT.PMS, the revenue accounts and service types should be double checked.
The fields in the service master file show which cash register is used to automatically post the respective service or to enter a specific service, if it is known, for example, that cash register 10 posts the service using product group 11.
