This list can store the current occupancy within the hotel to find out any discrepancies between the records in SIHOT and the actual/physical occupancy in a room.
To produce an up-to-date report, press the button snapshot, for SIHOT to “freeze” a picture of the hotel as a whole at this time. Enter the date and press search. By entering search criteria (room number, selecting a particular snapshot, housekeeping-, maintenance- and/or room status), you may reduce the length of the list, which will otherwise show all rooms at once.
By double clicking on a line in the list box, you can manually enter physical discrepancies to the records in SIHOT. These are a different housekeeping status, a different maintenance status and number of guests in the room. In addition, the luggage count and a comment may be entered for further information.
The report then shows:
•a comparison of the number of guests reserved and registered with the actual guests in the rooms
•a comparison to show which rooms are still checked-in in SIHOT but have been physically vacated
•vacant rooms in SIHOT which are physically occupied
