Guest History

This tab provides a short statistical summary of the guest’s past stays.

SIHOT updates the history automatically when running the program create history during the night run. In order for the program to run correctly, the following is required:

The guest must be checked-out and the account balanced.

    The account must be settled.

The invoice has to have a record in the outgoing invoice journal, so that may not be cancelled anymore.

This ensures that the history data is correct and can not be readjusted. If the guest should be entitled to a refund in form of an invoice rebate, the same will be noted in the history.

To customise the views in this window, use the following settings:

In an MPE-environment, select the respective hotel(s) to be looked at.

Set display zero values to no, to avoid the showing of lines which are not relevant.

Define a particular period to be evaluated.

In an MPE-environment, use show detailed or accumulated in order to view the records of each hotel individually or to see the records of the selected hotels added together.

In case of a company, further statistics are available by calling up the context menu of the profile and selecting company statistics. There is also a comprehensive report of the occupancy history, incl. ARR, in the menu ReportsRevenue/StatisticsCompany revenues.

When entering data as defined under history types, the starting date of the period-field is counted as “posting date”. In order for all lines to be displayed, the field display zero values must say yes before the first guest history entry.

Activate registry key save mealplans for guest statistics [6300] to add the following figures to the history:

    breakfast

    lunch

    dinner

    half board

    full board

    all inclusive

This tab also provides a chronological history of invoices according to the outgoing invoice journal in the lower part of the window. These invoices can be reproduced via context menu. Activate registry key [6505] to prevent invoices being reprinted in their original form. This is required in a number of countries where all reproductions of invoices must be marked as “copy”.
