Group Account

You can create a group account prior to arrival. The account will apply to all reservations with the same reservation number. This account is required for deposits or services rendered prior to check-in.

 

To avoid having a large amount of obsolete accounts within SIHOT, the reservation account has to be created especially via the context menu if and when required. In contrast to the reservation account, group accounts remain active throughout the stay of a group and are not inactivated upon check-in of the guests.

 

The account is created by highlighting the respective reservation in the list box and selecting group account from the context menu. You can then work with the group account (e.g. post charges or payments) in the accounts-dialog or in the check-out-dialog.

 

If a group account has not been created prior to check-in, and there are instructions for fix charges to be posted to the group account, SIHOT will create the group account automatically.

 

i NB: There can be only one group account per reservation number. Also, if different reservations should be charged to the same group account, you have to amend the reservation numbers manually, so that there is one reservation only.

i NB: Groups of the reservation type 5 – group block may have different reservation numbers and will therefore have different group accounts.
