Room |
Room number, if applicable also the name of the room (e.g. Cabaña 3). The number or name can be numerical or alphanumerical. Depending on the restaurant interface, the number must be in most cases numerical and non-ambiguous. |

Category |
Select the category. Reservations are made by room number or category. Important also for the Category rack. |

Location |
Select the location within the hotel |

Features1-3 |
Select the features describing the room in more detail. The features may be used to search for rooms to offer to a guest according to his/her requests. |

Floor |
Select the floor. The Rooms-to-clean-report can be printed per floor; therefore, rooms that fall into the same cleaning area can be grouped together by entering the same floor number. |

Sequence room rack |
By entering an alphanumerical sort code, the standard sorting order in the room rack can be overridden, if necessary. |

Room flags |
Tick room flags to be applied, e.g to suppress the key-card-dialog upon check-in. |

Select a building. |

Enter dates as of when and/or until when a room is available. |

Minibar identification |
Type of minibar, comment only. |

Cleaning status |
Housekeeping status of the room. Only one status can be assigned to a room at a time. During day-to-day operations, the status is best handled by the program Housekeeping – Room status. |

Maintenance |
Maintenance status of the room. There can be several statuses assigned at the same time (e.g. faulty curtain and tap dripping). During day-to-day operations, the status is best handled by the program Housekeeping – Room status. |

Heating status |
Only if interface to energy management system: select a status. |

Accounting Department |
Only if interface to certain accounting systems: department to which the room belongs. |

Card number |
Only if interface to certain key card systems: enter the number of the magnetic card for the door lock. |

Comment |
Enter a short comment to the room, which will be displayed under detailed information in the room rack. |
