The day-end functions are carried out in the schedule night run. Depending on individual hotel requirements, this schedule usually includes the following programs:
•new hotel day
•save revenues
•save occupancy definitive/tentative
•cash journal
•outgoing invoice journal
•revenue report
•guest account list
•city ledger balances
•posted services
•…
i WARNING: The program change hotel date must only be started once a day! Starting the program again will cause system errors. If you wish to re-print any of the reports, you must use the program repeat print.
i NB: Do carry out a back-up of the data base on a daily basis. In case of a system failure (e.g. breakdown of hardware), the back-up will ensure that as much data as possible can be retrieved.
You can also start the day-end programs individually via the menu reports. Some of these reports offer options to obtain specific information.
