Select the layout in the SIHOT installation path. As recommended, save the
layout immediately under a new name using the command “save as ..” in the
“file”-menu.The dialog is called up in the menu Admin - Environment.
To call up an existing layout, press the icon open
file in the editor’s toolbar.

Edit the layout as required. During the editing, save your
changes with the icon save 
in the editor’s toolbar.

In order to effect the changes in SIHOT, press the compile-button. The file is now saved in an .fmt-format and will be available for use in SIHOT.

If there is a mixfile for this layout already, call it up by
pressing the contextsensitive button 
.
Select the mixfile in the SIHOT installation path and press the
compile-button. The document is now displayed in the printable/sendable
version.

Press the back-button to return to the layout-mode for further editing.
