This function handles promotions such as “stay Y nights – pay X”. This function spreads the discounted rate over the entire period of stay, so that each day will, in fact, produce revenue in accommodation. Otherwise, the last night would have to be charged at a zero-rate, which would reduce the ARR for the day.
Call up the context menu discount per day in the list box of the rate agreement. The dialog discount per day shows all fields required to calculate the rate. Enter the number of days to be charged in the field days payable. Press calculate to see the new daily rate to be charged.
If there is a remainder, which can not be divided any further (e.g. € 0,01), then this amount is added to the first night of the stay. The following nights will be charged at the calculated rate.
