Select the radio-button package.
The package rates are entered for each day of the package’s validity – up to 14 days maximum. For packages of 15 days or more, a flat rate is entered. The flat rate will come into effect on the 15th day and will be same for every day thereafter.
Please note the following:
•The fields post components and posting frequency are not displayed under package data.
•Manual rates can not be entered (the field is pre-set with no).
•Weekend rates are not allowed for this type of package; when trying to open the tab, SIHOT will display a message.
i NB: Since packages are often valid for a limited period only (e.g. a weekend package from Friday to Sunday), extension nights will have to be reserved under a different rate. It is recommended to take this into consideration, by entering e.g. the rack rate for nights beyond the package’s validity.
If extension nights are not already entered in the package master, a change of rates can be entered in the dialog rate agreement (button packages in the reservation) in advance. SIHOT will then calculate the correct rate and store statistics accordingly. Please note that a change of rate may necessitate amendments in payment instructions, commissions, etc.
