In order to start using the training hotel facility, you must copy the existing database from the server to the training hotel on an individual computer. This provides the trainee with an exact duplicate of the live hotel. It also means that the database must have been backed up at least once after the installation of SIHOT. During normal operation, with a daily back-up procedure, SIHOT copies this latest back-up to the local training facility.
Start the copying by pressing the OK-button. When finished, leave the program by pressing the exit-button.
The database copied will then be available for use for a period of four weeks, after which you must copy the data base from the server once more. This procedure is necessary because of copy rights.
