A frequently asked question is why the figures of the invoice history are not identical with the revenue of a company in the company statistics.
As the term “invoice history” implies, the full history of an invoice is being evaluated. Because the invoice holder is confirmed only upon check-out, the revenue cannot be allocated to the invoice holder beforehand. So, if there is a reservation from the 15th of a month onwards to the beginning of the following month, the revenue calculated in the chronological guest history will be included only in the month during which the guest checked out. Another prerequisite is that the program Create history data is run regularly.
On the other hand, the revenue can be allocated to the client from “day 1”, since the client is ultimately identified upon making the reservation. Therefore, the programs Save revenue and Update statistics do store the revenue daily for the time of providing the service. This revenue is found in the report Company revenues.
