When changes in the number of persons are made, these may or may not affect all or some of the other reservations within the event (i.e. rooms and services). To facilitate the processing of such a change in numbers, SIHOT displays a pop-up dialog with the following options:
•the change does not affect any room or service reservation
•change all (lower) room and service reservations
•change all (lower) room and service reservations with the same number of persons
The second and third option will change the numbers on respective sub-levels. I.e. if you change the number of persons in a particular room, you can change the number of services reserved for the room by choosing the second option. However, the event reservation itself will not be affected, as it is on a higher level than the room; nor will other room reservations on the same level be affected.
The third option is useful for complex event reservations with several different rooms and services.
è EXAMPLE: A seminar is being held for 50 delegates. The event reservation is made up as follows:

If the total number of delegates changes to 60, but the break-out facility is still to be held for only 10 guests, the option yes, but only for those matching the original number of persons must be selected. SIHOT will then automatically change all requirements for 50 persons to 60 within this event reservation:

The pop-up dialog can be suppressed by selecting the option that should always apply and ticking the checkbox do not ask this question anymore. The dialog can be recalled by the System Administrator, if required.
