“Central Guest” refers to guest profiles that have been made
available to all properties (e.g. by HQSYNC). The name of these profiles is
highlighted in a different color and they are shown in a number of listboxes
with the icon in the column synchronised.
A central guest is created by setting the flag central guest in the guest profile. This guest profile is also assigned a central-ID number, which is a unique identifier for the HQ-system.

When allocating a non-central guest to a central reservation, this guest will automatically become a central guest. This behaviour can be deactivated with registry key [8318].
Use registry key [8317] to determine that all guests automatically become central guests. This will come into effect when a new guest is being created and when an existing guest is amended in any way.
