Some PABX’s and or phone providers do not supply a call-charge pulse. I.e. the call-charging must be calculated by the PMS. In the past, SIHOT always received the applicable amount or the number of impulses. A call accounting software is available as an additional module, which is subject to serialisation. Activate registry key [902020] to work with this function.
Some PABX’s and or phone providers do not supply a call-charge pulse. I.e. the call-charging must be calculated by the PMS. In the past, SIHOT always received the applicable amount or the number of impulses.
Using the call accounting software, SIHOT is able to calculate the charges. A list with prefixes is required. Each prefix is assigned a fee per minute. This also allows mobile (cell) telephone numbers to be charged differently from land line numbers. Also, call charges can vary from day to day, e.g. calls made during the weekend may be cheaper than during the week.
The prefix-colum refers to the leading numbers, starting with either 0 for national calls or 00 or + for international calls. When calculating the charges for certain telephone number, SIHOT refers to the longest applicable prefix in the table.
The second column contains the description for the prefix.
Enter the charges for the different days of the week in the remaining columns. The standard-rate applies as a default whenever there is no other rate defined for the day of the week. Therefore, if you do not enter a standard rate, all seven days of the week must be given a rate.
i N.B.: Any number which is not included in the mapping table will be charged at the default rate marked with *. Therefore, do NOT delete this line.
i TIP: The length of the prefix is not subject to any limit. Therefore, you can also enter entire numbers and make them free-of-charge.
