Banqueting Suites

Larger ballrooms or banqueting halls with a flexible layout that can be subdivided into a number of individual smaller rooms are entered as “banqueting suites”. The individual rooms making up a banqueting suites are entered as “elementary rooms”.

è EXAMPLE: The elementary rooms 1 and 2 can be separated by a removable partition. When sold together as one room, they become a banqueting suite.

It is not possible to create a suite consisting of suites. I.e. suites can consist only of elementary rooms which can not be subdivided themselves.

To avoid overbooking situtations in a banqueting suite, the elementary rooms within the suite cannot not be overbooked. However, if overbookings for elementary rooms are explicitly permitted, activate registry key [8283], to enter reservations that will cause an overbooking.
