Activities generated in SIHOT can automatically be transferred to Outlook. For each activity the transfer can be made separately or commonly in the activities summary. Such activities are shown in Outlook as an appointment and are automatically synchronised with the activities in SIHOT i.e.:
•a change in activities in SIHOT also changes the appointments in Outlook.
•a change in appointments in Outlook also changes the activities in SIHOT.
Furthermore appointments generated in Outlook can be transferred to SIHOT. Simply drag & drop the appointment to SIHOT for editing in the appointments summary (esp. assignment to a user/user-group). Such appointments are also kept synchronised in SIHOT and in Outlook.
Conflicting schedules between Outlook and SIHOT are pointed out in a pop-up message.
With online synchronisation, there is an immediate update between SIHOT and Outlook as soon as there is an amendment to an appointment or activity in one of the two programs. When using offline synchronisation, SIHOT updates and compares all activities and appointments to be synchronised with Outlook upon start-up.
